5/10/2004 - Hiked to the falls on a beautiful warm day. Parking was at the end of the access road which was difficult to locate with only the number spraypainted on a concrete barricade. The end of the road was at the point the flooding creek had washed it away, turning was difficult. Trail improvements are scheduled for 2005.

2/26/2005 - Hiked to and past Margarette Falls today. A proper trail sign at the road turn and parking area exist now. Found a new falls upstream in a narrow gorge that I've named Bailey Falls. Hiked on until the land started getting flatter before turning around.
