The Guest River Gorge trail is part of the Virgina "Rails to Trails" program. It follows an old railroad grade for 5.8 miles. In that distance the elevation drop is <500' and the "trail" is some of the easiest walking you'll find anywhere. Eagles nest in the cliffs, small waterfalls form most anywhere a creek joins the river, wildflowers abound... A popular destination for bicyclists as well. More info HERE
